What is more concerning that you soon get a clear picture that these outdated institutions and organisations actual benefit from us staying silent. They've been able to thrive and continue to be funded as they are never held accountable. Because when the system in place benefits
a select few they will never want it to change.
There still exists this uncertainty that if we speak up we will be labelled as difficult or problematic or even worse we will be treated as pariah's simply for doing what we know deep down is right. It's never easy to come forward

and share any traumatic experience. I do hope we can continue to find ways in which we can speak our truths and support one another.
But one thing is for certain this can't continue. And maybe as a community we need to find ways in which we protect ourselves and hold these organisations accountable
