For all the “good guys” confused, this is not an appropriate way to speak to another person. Let alone a colleague in the space sector.

I want to thank everyone who has commented or reached out in support. I was nervous to post at all but I am so glad to see such support from the community.

This kind of behavior has to be unacceptable.

Additionally, which I did not add before, this was not all that happened

Prior to this message he reached out to tell me to log onto video for a virtual conference where I was a panelist and he was the moderator.

But it was 9 am, my panel wasn’t until 1

I asked if the time had changed for my panel and when it would now start

He wouldn’t answer and just insisted that I sign onto the video stream.

He then sent this message and I was still convinced the panel was happening and I was missing it now because I was too upset to log on.

Turns out the panel time did not change. He had lied

I don’t know why he did this or why he wanted me to log on with him early. But it put a sick taste in my mouth and destroyed any prior trust or respect.

This wasn’t just a dumb offhand comment he made. This was a deliberate disregard for me as a human being
