This is what led me to coining the term race/ism in 2016.

Why?

I have a few reasons:

• race should never be spoken of independently of racism because race is the child of racism

• it contains break in the word, a signage that creates a pause & consciousness of that relation
Also, the 1st point in the last tweet is basically what the 2nd chapter of my dissertation is about. It was published last year.
