in switzerland, the government decided to legalize gay marriage and make it easier for trans people to legally change their gender back in december, but ppl started to protest against it and by collecting 60 000 signatures a referendum will happen

i don’t know why i’m making this thread tbh, i just think it’s weird how this even is something to discuss. i personally think everyone should be able to marry whoever they want. it’s all love so why should it matter what gender you are for you to get married?
