Probably turning this into a thread of findings - but pls feel free to share any gripes/tools or if you know an alternative term for fingering that isn't totally cursed.

Our group was talking about how the thumb is often neglected even though it can be in an ideal position for pleasure and someone said "ah yes like the bowling ball position"

Now we’ve gone through so many ideas and areas that I’ve lost track of this thread so fuck it just going to write a blog post after the weekend’s over

Some things we've discussed:

- Integrating an optical mouse into the glove
- EMG sensors on your forearm
- AR glasses inspired by surgical training
- Crotchless underwear with ultrasound sensors
- Fitbit-style accelerometer rings
- Dipping your hand in body-safe dye
- 3D mapping

Something we keep circling back to: How can you make a product informative without being too clinical? We want what we build to be sensual, playful, and aid exploration - but we also want it to be safe and accurate

Another learning from @KinkyMakers for when you're building a product that collects data: Half of the battle is knowing what to measure and the other half is *how* that measurement affects the person or modifies behavior.

TLDR: If you think fingering is difficult, that's because it is! Every body is different! There's also not a lot of info or toys available! And it's not just for horny teens! I will die on this hill!!!
