I agree with its points, but am concerned that the work of Civil Defence in the Second World War is completely ignored, only mentioning CDC in Cold War (equating them with military) and the Home Guard. 1/3

If you are going to look at what came before, recognising the services that worked through wartime would be a basic to me, especially if you decide to mention the Home Guard.
I don’t disagree with the suggestion of a uniformed body to be brought in, but please use EPOs 2/3

To help shape it. Use the likes of @TheEPS1 and @icpem, use the combined knowledge and skills of an entire profession. And if you want to look at historic precedents, use historians that look at the field. It will help in the long run #EMGTwitter 3/3
