This is what you can see when you search it on google. Basically, it's a planned thing made for publicity. In this thread I'll explain the celebrity side and I think Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is the perfect exemple.

They were both in the cast of the Twilight Saga and the dating rumors lasted for several years until they were seen kissing differents people. Their couple was famous because the saga's fans were excited to see them together on the screen, and in real life.

“People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product,” that's what said Kristen in 2012 when the stunt rumors started after she was seen with someone else.

Years after that (I can't find the photo sorry) she wore a tshirt that said something like "some womens are in pr stunt, get over it" and I also think it mentionned the sexuality but I'm not sure

Like everyone know, she came out years after that and now she's probably not in this system anymore.
Now we're gonna talk about these two

Taylor and Harry were apparently "dating" in december 2012, when One Direction was in New York.
It's a know fact that most of Taylor's relationship were pr (Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris...) and Harry has been in grooming with Carolina Flack before.

Harry's situation was really early when his carrier started. Rebecca Ferguson mentionned it recently, Syco forced him to appear with older women when he was confused about his sexuality. And for Taylor, her being lgbtq+ wasn't normalized like it is today.

And obviously, Harry's relationship with Louis Tomlinson was a hot topic on the social media. And now we know Taylor dated Dianna Agron at this moment. (Wonderland on 1989 is about her).

If you look deeper in this stunt, Taylor was a 23 years old popstar and she had a new album released. Harry was 18, One Direction was new and very popular at this time. The New Year kiss in Time Square is know for being kinda ridiculous (not judging tho)

New Year at Time's Square is recorded and showed on every televisions in the world. So if a random guy took a video of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles kissing with their team around them, it was obviously mean to be viral.

After that, we've never seen them together again and Taylor released her album 1989 with "Style" and "Out Of The Woods". Style's lyrics are simple, it's about someone with long hair, it could be about Harry. But now watch the MV. Yes, she has the necklace. But look :

And in Out Of The Woods, she says "the rest of the world was black and white, and we were in screaming colors" yep.
And in 2013, Harry wrote "Two Ghosts", a song about two lovers who can be themselves in certain situations, look at the lyrics :

So yes that was a stunt, and this situation is on repeat with a lot of celebrities, our stan, and it's bad. Listen to Out Of The Woods. That doesn't talk about paparazzis.
Some stunts are for publicity, some are for closeting.
Some people have "no stunts" in their carrd or bio.

Don't think it's because we don't like Kendall Jenner. We just don't support it. We don't want to believe it. Actually Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles is a stunt. We don't give attention to it. It's just to feed the media and advertise their film. Olivia is married.

So, if you want to call us idiots because we have "no stunts" in our biographies, just shut up.
