Here is a rant for you...
I’m really excited/optimistic for the future of soccer for a few reasons. This last year has awakened numerous people. So many people are using their platforms to educate, bring awareness, or raise funds for truly meaningful causes outside of sport.

These people in some ways (I feel) are being heard and supported by people in power i.e. leagues and in some circumstances clubs. The people taking that step to be advocates, activists, etc about numerous causes aren’t gonna settle for mediocrity.

There are many things to get mad about, nitpick, or belittle. The people that I’m most excited about are those that are A) finding solutions to problems B) are uplifting others. Being petty or finding negative things about X is really easy especially in this hellscape (twitter).

Venting and being angry is necessary to process an event or occurrence. Like I get it, I’ve been there before and I’m sure will be again in the future. Only finding negatives is easy and understandable. Searching for positives can be more difficult but also is more rewarding

(I know that’s not a “rant” but whatevs)
