Just because the Holy Spirit didn't appear to you in a dream to tell you they're your partner doesn't mean that you both won't be compatible or that you aren't 'meant to be'.
As humans, God has given every individual the right to make choices.

Choosing a life partner is one of those choices. So even if He doesn't come to you in a dream to say that the name of your future wife is Titi, walk in His will while you're making this important choice because He can see all that you can't.
And on the other hand, if someone comes to you to say that "the Holy Spirit said", please don't get carried away.
