It's kinda sad how long fic writers wants to write shorter fics, and short fic writers want to write long fic.
I think it's because we as a society tend to see what we're lacking in, and never really appreciate what we can do.
I get the whole improving things, getting more +
flexible and able to write about different things but ... do we really need to? If you're great at angst and want to do crack it will be hard at and that's okay, you can keep pushing and go on and you'll succeed but I don't want this to become a race on how good at everything+
you are.
It's okay if you want to improve but always criticising your work and never giving it the recognition it deserves is only bad for you, the writer.
Recognise your hard work, and if you want, keep working on your weak points, but don't forget that we're all human and +
it's okay to be better in certain areas than others
