Taehyung takes the most trivial feelings, moments that people would normally skip over and turns them into songs.

The dawn when he was waiting for his friend(who we later found out was jimin) at the park while the birds were chirping inspired him to write 4 o' clock. +
"One day, to the moon,
I wrote a long long letter
Though it wasn’t brighter than you,
I lit a small candle
At a park in the half-light of dawn
a nameless singing bird
Where are you"

He encapsulates that moment in his words, and makes it so much more than it originally is. +
This is the beauty of his lyricism; he takes moments and turns them into stories.

Another example, his inspiration for winter bear was a scene from a movie "about time" where the protagonist proposes to his partner who was about to fall asleep. +
"Imagine your face
say hello to me
Then all the bad days,
they're nothing to me
With you"

That short scene inspired him to write a beautiful song and i think this is why winter bear feels like a warm lullaby. He has the ability to communicate feelings perfectly through his songs
In scenery, he added soft windchime sounds in the beginning along with the shutter sounds of a camera. These are arguably small, insignificant details but it adds so much colour and life to the song. You feel as though you're living through his voice
This pattern of putting importance on a seemingly insignificant detail/moment can be found in the small snippet of his song, "sleep"

"The clouds are still passing by
Sounds of a tossed blanket
The night gets smaller and smaller"

In his words these aren't just instants of time+
they're the core elements of what evokes an emotion. Its the setting that he focuses on. He takes that, gives it character, embroiders it with his thoughts and weaves a story around it.
All his songs snippet are filled with lines like these:
"will you please dance with me cause u cant live without you"
"I will love you in slow motion"

Or when he took the line "you make me wanna be a better man" from the movie "as good as it gets" and added it to snowflower+
The phrase /ships in the night/ in sweet night is a metaphor for people who encounter only for a short period and then go their separate ways never to meet again. This one motif shows you the idea the song is trying to put forward.
Further, blue & grey being something he wrote at his lowest, he uses the colors blue and grey to express his gloomy & anxious feelings. Although the lyrics are rather dark and reflects his state of mind while working on it, the acoustic guitar used gives a warm feeling.
His work lets you see the world from his perspective. Focusing on the small, good parts of life but not refusing to acknowledge the difficulties of it, healing without putting pressure on yourself and letting yourself adjust to certain circumstances and feelings.
The night, moon, monochrome colors, winter and snow are some important motifs in his songs. He has a way of emphasizing words and sounds to make it mean so much more than it actually does and its beautiful.
