Born on 1st May 1998 in a naval family,Lt. Kiran Shekhawat was the daughter of Lt. Vijendra Shekhawat and Mrs. Madhu Chauhan
She belonged of Sefarguwar village of Rajasthan

Lt. Kiran Shekhawat completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vishakhapatnam and completed her higher studies from Andhra University.
She also worked in a Pvt. Bank before joining the elite Indian Navy.
She then married a navy officer,lt. vivek singh Chhoker.

On 5th of July 2010 she got commissioned,Lt. Kiran shekhawat joined the Indian Naval Air Sqaudron (INAS) 310.
In 5 years of here naval career she was posted across various naval station and in 2015 she got posted in Goa,where she laid her life on line of duty

She was on duty on a flight as an observer with Indian Navy, she was martyred in a Dornier crash off the Goa coast on 24 March 2015.
