Good morning everyone, want to talk about stuffs that has been on my mind for some time. I see lots of comments about how slow or inactive the Nigerian police force is, how useless they are to the society and what not.

First I will address the issue of activeness. Policemen are

Not magicians. They are humans and with the limited resources they have, they are doing their best. In a country where shops and houses barely have CCTV cameras, much more on the streets. In civilized countries, these cameras help alot in investigations, it's not just what Mr A..

Or Mr B said. They can watch these things as it happens and know the truth. In civilized countries, we have good database that just by capturing a face from a CCTV camera, a face recognition can be done to track the person. Here we have nothing of that sort, how do we expect...

These people to work? They do everything manually. A policeman is trying to apprehend an offender whereas, he have no handcuffs, no teaser either. He only have his rifle (not even all). If the issue escalate, he either over power the suspect manual or uses his rifle
