Autistic ppl shouldn't have to spend the month that is OSTENSIBLY ABOUT US fighting w/ allistic ppl to not harm us, or at the very least, do some gesture to mitigate that harm.

It is wrong for ppl who arent in a marginalized class to "raise awareness" w/o any input/consideration/participation from those marginalized ppl. It's wrong when white ppl do it to BIPOC. It's wrong when cishets do it to queer folk. It's wrong when abled ppl to do to disabled ppl
In the end we got *something* out of it. But at what cost? We had to wade thru hundreds of threads filled w/ ppl arguing that eugenics against autistic ppl is good actually. We had to watch helplessly as Rober, et. al. ignored us and deleted our words
