Tinder: A thread.
So I wasn’t getting many matches and I assumed (my brain assumed) that it was because I’d put full body photos on where you can size I’m not a tiny human but fast forward to a message I got from a bloke which changed everything 1/6

The message read “I just wanted to say I think you’re stunning but I don’t date tories”. Now this caused confusion as I most definitely am NOT a Tory. So I went onto my profile to see what had gone so wrong. 2/6

My opening line read “passionate conservationist”. I immediately saw the problem. People clearly can’t read and have been reading my opening like as “passionate conservative”. 3/6

So for months I’ve been wallowing in self pity when in fact people on tinder just can’t seem to distinguish between two words that look similar 4/6

So before bed last night I put a disclaimer to point out that I am a CONSERVATIONIST not a member of the Tory party - woke up to a ton of matches (that I’ll probably ignore of course but still ) 5/6

So the moral of the story is probably give up on tinder but at least I solved the mystery and can continue my bunny hugging adventure. 6/6
