Many of our teachers are SLEs (and an ELE) who work to support local schools.
We lead on research projects, working with other schools across the county and beyond.

We take a lead on work to improve opportunities for those with educational disadvantage.

We have a renown centre for pupils with ASD and often have pupils arriving with us who have struggled elsewhere. They thrive with us.

Our brilliant head teacher chairs the county Heads group and works with national organisations to develop the next generation of school leaders.

And we do this in one of the worst funded parts of the country and after being turned down for any official status. We do it because we believe it matters.
