Because - and I HATE to break this to you PDX Forum boys (and it is 99% blokes. Because of course) but YOU'RE the one who gets to set the rules on how you play PDX games for fun.

Play EU4. Play it how YOU enjoy. Roll back to earlier versions if you have to. Recognise it's an ancient game now with SERIOUS coding baggage that can't be overcome. Marvel that SOMEHOW it is still the best grand strat out there despite this.

Personally, I think PDX should have stopped adding features and just be doing flavour now while Tinto starts on 5. Because it's SUPER bitrotty as this DLC showed, but whatever. It's their game.
