As a Colombian who is aware of what's going on with the National Strike since last Wednesday, I'm very afraid of how the police is repressing against the demonstrators who a rejects the new tax reform, and another ones by a man who's addicted to power and a few people.
It's sad to see today I watch videos of chaos and madness from many cities and towns who are tired of these injustices during the pandemic.

It was very unusual since November 2019 and I witnessed the anger of every average Colombian who are not agree with their policies.
But this time is uncertain if we don't do something. At least some groups are discussing and organizing on every platform. However, I'm afraid about what's going to happen with the internet, like for example in Egypt when the government went down during the protests in 2011.
And I realize that the internet is a great tool for communicating and informing in real time. But the misinformation and fake news are still present to ruin the cause, but there are many alternatives though.

And we need change the country, so... We're on the same trend.
But we'll still fighting amid the international correspondants, activists and even the K-Pop stans who sabotage any hashtag.

So, this thread is aimed to the global audience and English-speakers despite the fact that my focuses on the geek and internet culture in Latin America.
And that's it for now and I let another thread to understand better about this situation. https://twitter.com/AkumaNoNunu/status/1387230810927939587?s=19
