1 like.= 1 Fr. Nick pro tip/true statement/opinion. ( Probably going to do this for like 20 minutes till I'm bored but it could be helpful for people) https://twitter.com/CrankyFed/status/1388230829999075329
1. People care far too much about things that aren't all that important, they need to do more to put God first in their lives. Chill out and go pray.
2. Technology advanced far too fast for humanity too adequately respond, it really messed up our anthropology. Go outside and look at a bird or a tree or something.
3. Catholics should read the daily scripture and pray the Rosary daily. You need to know Jesus to better love him. Scripture informs, and the rosary provides time to meditate. I can't stress these two things enough.
4. Take care of your body as best as you can. Medication can't fix everything. Sleep a little bit more, eat and drink a little bit less. Take a walk everyday, the body was designed to move.
5. I believe this is true for many things, but I think some people are more interested in the idea of being Catholic then putting in the time and effort to actually be Catholic. Maybe it's something they do because it's cultural or their parents expected to or whatever..
5.2 This point needs a lot more clarification but I think it can stand on its own as well6
6. Once you start running more than a few miles it becomes much more of a mental activity than physical one. And I think that's what's good about it.
7. You can only have a handful of people that you know really well. Besides family, maybe five to seven friends. Social media really messes up our ability to know people well. It confuses quantity with quality.
8. A lot of people have gone through particular types of trauma, whether it's harassment or abuse or battery or whatever. Or they witnessed those things. That should make us act more kind to people.
