Let me write a thread on Exponential Growth.

So many of you are learning and learning and probably, there isn’t much ROI and you keep wondering what is going on.

There is a calculation in economics and management that you can use to keep track of yourself

Let’s say, you are a YouTuber (tired of using designers lol)

And you have a Goal to achieve 10,000 subscribers before the end of month.

Call that
‘Project Goal — 10,000 subscribers’

Currently, you only have 900 subscribers right... let’s assume

You noticed that,
Every time you post 10 videos in a week, you gain about 100 new subscribers...

And you decided to make sure that, you will increase your video uploads to 20 per week... so fasten up the pace of subscribers

Right?

Normally, we expect that, the return of the new upload rate will earn you 200 new subscribers per week right?

2x=2y
Right?

Yea!
So the law of exponential growth says that you are not going to earn 2x, but more likely to earn 3-4x because the results gets compounded

This is why, the rate at which you get your first 100 followers on twitter is slower than when you want to reach 200 followers

100 followers — 6months
200 followers — 4months
300 followers — 12weeks

Etc

Now this is my take home.
If you want to take in the fattest income, it is very important that you manage yourself as a project.

Do not quit in learning/working on yourself (being a project) because you don’t see results.
Results will eventually come in compounded form

Results are meant to be linear, but this results we ar talking about always come exponentially

Linear - 1a, 1b, 1c
Expo - 1a, 2b, 4c

Sometimes, you can experience creeps (if you take in too much in without pouring some out), but, being a managing yourself will help u avoid that

You know when to stay, when to push and when to proceed.

Understand that your pace with other people is very personal and self strategic. You have your own customization and you are managing yourself. Don’t rush

Like I always say, ‘Growth is a personal Race’

You need to start treating yourself as an ongoing projects and Sequential program.

Projects: is basically programs than ends

Program: is basically an operation of cycles

You will always be a work in progress, yet, their are phases you need to start and finish.

Document your progress
