The answer is B, (although I would have done C if I& #39;d thought of it earlier). [This was more pressure than I& #39;m used to at the drive-thru window. I choose my charities with a little more care than & #39;I& #39;ll get lunch for the rando behind me& #39;.]

A gift freely given is one thing, but when someone else& #39;s gift requires me to change my patterns of habit and giving, it& #39;s no longer a gift, is it? It& #39;s now an obligation with all kinds of social expectations, and that, frankly, was more energy I was looking for at a drive-thru.
To be fair, I said, & #39;Thank you,& #39; thought about it for a good ten seconds, said & #39;Thank you& #39; again, and drove ahead. I felt weird but I didn& #39;t feel it was my place to mindlessly perpetuate something without thinking it through. Next time I& #39;d donate to charity.
