We’re reflecting on @DordMagazine shortly because I’ve got things to say, I know I’m not the only founder feeling them at some point, and if anyone has advice for me I’m all ears. I’ve also got a team to praise.
I never want to be the founder who acts like everything is flawless and easy, that goes against the DORD brand. If you’re looking for someone who is a flawless role model, I’ll never be that.
Brutally honest founder reflections: *disclaimer: we're talking about founder challenges/lessons/realizations. None of what I say has to do with my team, other than absolute praise, because they truly are the most talented and passionate folks I've ever met.
If you want to make cool shit, find people smarter, cooler, more interesting than you, and let them run wild. It will intimidate and humble you, but movements aren't made when leaders sit in the biggest chair at the table.
