Nya& #39;s merging and why I have the certainty she comes back: a thread.
This will be full of spoilers so please be cautious if you haven& #39;t watched episodes 15 & 16 yet.
After the finale being released today, I know how shattered we all might be about it. As I& #39;ve seen how much of an impact this has caused on many of my friends and people I know, I chose to do this thread on why I think Nya will come back.
However, first of all I& #39;d like to address some aspects regarding the topic, talking about Nya& #39;s merging to begin with. Yes, she does seem happy, free, and pretty much peaceful where she& #39;s living now. Nevertheless, I think we should take smth really important in consideration.
Remember what Benthomaar mentioned about Nyad? That she lost herself after merging to the ocean? This is literally what happened with the current master of water.
She wasn& #39;t herself anymore, she didn& #39;t even have any aspect left of her personality. It was almost as if she was human no longer, only caring about responding to the ocean& #39;s call. That wasn& #39;t Nya, and it& #39;s pretty obvious that the merging did not only changed her physically, but-
emotionally and mentally as well. What I want to make clear with this, is that if the actual Nya was still inside her elemental form (or whatever y& #39;all wanna call it), she would NOT have left. But again, the merging did not only involved physical aspects, but mental as well.
With that being said, let& #39;s get into the reasons for me to believe she will come back, if it wasn’t pretty obvious already (from my point of view).
1. Jay loves her too much to just let her go that easily, and this has been proven not only this season, but since long ago too. I just know he will do everything on his hands to get her back. & #39;Cause after all, it& #39;s not like Nya& #39;s dead alright?-
(and even if she was, there would still be ways to bring her back, but we won& #39;t get into it rn).
2. This tweet. Notice how it says "yet", that meaning Nya still has challenges to face. And ofc, she won& #39;t be able to do so if they just forgot about her character, with her living in the sea forever.
3. It doesn& #39;t seem logical to me for the female lead of the show to get such ending, especially when Ninjago isn& #39;t even close to its end.
