I am surprised to see how big is "Graph" in this word cloud. This is a new thing for SIGIR and it seems that graph neural nets are finding their way into IR applications. Too soon to make claims though; should wait for the proceedings. #SIGIR2021

If we focus on normalized publication count (i.e., normalizing by the number of authors in each paper), Guido Zuccon ( @guidozuc) wins! #SIGIR2021
Daniel Cohen ( @dcohenIR) of UMass Amherst who has recently joined Brown University as a Postdoctoral Researcher in ranked #1 in terms of normalized publication count in full papers.
He publish a solo-author paper at #SIGIR2021 which was part of his PhD dissertation.
