I see far too often with clients and questions in my DMs about how people make money off their social media.

First things first: no one makes money right off the bat. This takes time.

A thread.

Second: if you’re new to this, that means no one knows who you are. Your main focus should be organic growth and brand awareness.

This means you need PATIENCE

Thirdly: if your whole goal is to go viral and have millions of followers but no one is engaging. Check your content, website, overall message. You’re not building trust.

Let’s also make sure we’re not focusing only on social media.

If Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter and Instagram shut down today, how will your business stay afloat?

Last and most importantly: when you see a social media account making money of their content and going viral, this isn’t overnight.

It looks hella easy, but it isn’t. This is HARD. This takes WORK.

Do not compare your starting line to someone else’s finish line.

Someone being viral or banking off of their social media presence did so because they consistently posted quality content and built trust in their brand.

They did that with posts that only got 10 likes for years.

Now they’re popping. This isn’t an accident. This is strategy.
