Just tried the new iOS/tvOS 14.5 tv color calibration feature and you can tell the engineers never QA’d it with people who have hand tremors. No disclaimer about how extremely sensitive it is to shakes/jerks of the hand. Would’ve at least appreciated that.
Finally got it to work after like 20 minutes of repeated tries.

A recommendation if somehow an Apple employee comes across this thread: if there could be a way to do the process in stages, that’d be tight. It seemed like it sequentially went RGB(several shades of white).
So if it could do one color at a time, cache result, pause, and then let you come back to the next step that’d be super handy as an accessibility thing. I know that’s probably more complex than Apple UX would prefer. And perhaps it needs every color immediately without pause
for the algorithm to work. 🤷🏻‍♂️
cc maybe @Catfish_Man if you know anyone in accessibility who could benefit from this thread as a learning tool for future iterations of the feature maybe
