We will not allow our formerly incarcerated community to be dehumanized. As Ny reminds us daily, we all deserve second chances. If we want to free ourselves from mass incarceration and deportation, we need an administration that recognizes this simple fact.

Rather than doubling down on rhetoric that drove our mass incarceration crisis, @SecMayorkas should follow Ny’s leadership and work to end the prison to deportation pipeline and build a more compassionate society.
