People need to understand that IBLP/ATI isn't just a conservative religious group, it's Bill Gothard's sex cult where every single member was being groomed, while girls and young women were required to dress in the way that turned Bill Gothard on.

Teen girls who caught Bill Gothard's eye were trafficked to headquarters to be closer to his orbit. TLC giving reality shows to members of Gothard's sex cult is no different than if they'd given a reality show to members of the FLDS who were close to Warren Jeffs.

It's not cute, it's not harmless, it's a television network allowing a sex cult to groom the entire country in hopes that we look the other way.

The reason all the Duggar girls and women dressed and did their hair and makeup the way they do is because that's what Bill Gothard finds attractive. It's cloaked behind "modesty," but the reason Gothard made the rules he did is because that's what he likes to look at.

Thousands of girls and young women around the country dressed and styled their hair like that believing that it was the most modest and pleasing to God, not knowing that it was a pervy old man running a sex cult and using girls' parents as unknowing groomers on his behalf.

That's what TLC has spent years putting on your TV screens. The systematic grooming of girls and young women, and of the entire country to convince the nation that an oppressive sex cult was wholesome old fashioned family values so nobody asked questions.

And that's not even going into how Gothard's ALERT program isn't a "pray the gay away" camp like most people think, it's actually a paramilitary training program, with firefighting and EMT training mixed in to make the whole thing look more legit.
