Hello, Ms/Mx/Mr. Ash here, I shall be your teacher today to talk about some very important Texas bills against Trans People, please read and retweet.

So first off there are 3 bills making their way through the Texas Legislature, HB 1399, SB 1646, and SB1311- these will be very harmful and potentially life threatening to the Transgender Texans and also those who love them.
These bills are going to be targeting gender-affirming care to terminate, WHICH every major medical association recognizes that gender-affirming care is life-saving care.
The Texas senate passed a bill (HB 4014/SB 1646) this recent Wednesday that would classify gender confirmation surgeries child abuse. SB 1646 awaits deliberation in the House.
SB1311 bill is going to prohibit physicians from prescribing of preforming gender reassignment procedures on children. This will be very wrong because children are insecure and if a god damn surgery would help them GREATLY then why would you not give it to them!?
There is also the bill HB 68 which would make gender-affirming care considered child abuse.
Now there is also the bills HB1458, HB 3455, HB 4042, HB 4043, SB 29, and SB 373.
Summary of what these bills would do: They would require K-12 youth to participate in sports according to the gender on their birth certificate, this is very damaging due to not letting them-

participate in line with their gender identity and barring them from the friendship, education, teamwork, and health benefits of playing a sport.
