Since my newborns showed up, I& #39;ve spent a lot of time 3am-9am waiting around for the colic-y one to fall asleep while propped up on my shoulder.
This has gotten me unhealthily deep into the internet, culminating in, of course, an expedition into the mad land of memecoins.

I kinda knew about these for a long time (occasionally seeing nonsense on Twitter like "$DONGLE to the moon") but really only tried to figure out what they& #39;re about 2 days ago when I saw a tweet @DGisSERIOUS about making 2x off Dogelon.
So, I did the natural financially responsible thing for a new father: I spent a little while figuring out @MetaMask & @Uniswap (which are frustratingly cryptic for a beginner) and then bought some $ELON. So far, downward slide. I got in too late?
I asked how people even figure out what to buy and @SavantDefi pointed me at the insane chaos of subreddits like CryptoMoonShots. Everyone in this world says "DYOR" (do your own research) but how do you make sense of 20 copy cats coins called like "Cyber DogeMoon"?
I hunted around for a few other people on Twitter who had recommended $ELON early and followed @youngprepro into buying $MICRO. Seemed like a kinda neat startup idea? It turned out to be a scam and I immediately lost all my $. This seems to be a normal occurrence in this space.
Lastly, I followed @Bagofbread2 into buying @ApeHaven / $APE which at least so far hasn& #39;t completely tanked?
The coin has a cool mechanism where 1% of each transaction is put into a charity wallet, which seems to have already generated ~$35k for an ape rescue in FL ( @CFGA)

I hope it become standard for new coins bake in a charity mechanism like $APES -- if people are going to throw all this money into a tornado it would be nice if at least some of the $ ended up helping someone other than the gamblers.
