anyways hello, a life update

last week i got fired for opposing the integration of cry/pto, n/fts, and similar tech with questionable ethics in educational/teaching software for schools (my work project)

i was a teacher, pulled aside to work on a teaching tool, but the project scope had gradually been invaded by te/chbr/os looking to reinvent society with the me/taver/se

i had raised concerns about the ethics problems in the roadmap, but all i got was "that's just progress dude"

theyve begun getting rid of people who disagree with their vision, starting with me, the most vocal about these problems

i wasnt given an option to continue teaching, it was either continue working on this now-ethically questionable software or get fired

if its not obvious already, im against cry/pto and n/fts and the me/taver/se culture that surrounds them

im burnt out from the hyperbole and buzzwords, it's all a grift

i've got some money saved and budgeted to last maybe 2-3 months, so i'm starting my job hunt once finals are done
