Is it any surprise that the most LGBTQ accepting signal from the Church we have received (so far) was at the hands of women?

The answer of course is no it is not surprising. I believe that if l the Church wants to have more empathy and compassion (something we desperately need more of btw) we must look to the women of the Church.

Further, until there is a place for women to not only speak their truth but LEAD, there will NEVER be a place for LGBTQ siblings to. You want me to believe there’s a place for me in the Church? Show me there’s a place for heterosexual women.

Don’t take my word for it though, the following are just a few women in the Church who I look to as an example for what we could be and we should be listening to their voices more often, if you don’t already follow them you should.
