The name @beeple comes from a stuff animal toy from the 80s that if you covered it’s eyes it’s makes a giggle sound, it responds to light with sound, the interplay between light and sound is prevalent with beeples work
@beeple real name Mike Winkelmann graduated from Perdue University in 2003 majoring in computer science
The reason for @beeple to start the everydays was because he was inspired by illustrator @tomjudd1 who drew everyday for a year, beeple wanted to get better at drawing which lead him to learning cinema4D
Usually @beeple will spend 2hours per day on his everydays, if beeple is not satisfied with his work he will still publish it, regardless if he is embarrassed by it
For inspiration @beeple looks through @Pinterest @Behance @ArtStationHQ and pins items that may inspire a specific shape, a colour scheme or a composition which leads to the everydays being a subject mixed together with a bunch of ideas
when @beeple went to high school he played the drums, badly and has never been musically talented, he says his music knowledge is quite low
Most of @beeple work is designed with Cinema 4D and rendered with octane
@beeple commercial work is mostly convert visuals for the likes of @justinbieber @katyperry @NICKIMINAJ @onedirection to PSY
according to @beeple website he has created 5113 consecutive everydays
The Everydays: The First 5,000 Days' is the third-most expensive work ever by a living artist @beeple sold the piece to @MetaKovan for $69,400,000 on March 11th 2021 at @ChristiesInc
