You can’t tell me anything about my executive function that I don’t already know. I know my room is a mess. I know I need to shower more frequently. I’m already beating myself up over it. And your criticism- aside from hurting me - really doesn’t solve anything.
And just because Im talking about it doesn’t mean Im romanticizing it. It doesn’t mean I think it’s good. It doesn’t mean I want it to last. I talk about it because I know other people can relate, and I want them to know that they’re not alone
