Zaregoto Volume 2 Impressions

This is by no means a deep outlook on the content, since i now intend to read the full thing before returning to dissect any introduced subject, so i will lay down my non-spoiler evolving impressions about the writing for those interested.
First, i would like to give attention to the author's unique take on the Motive of Murder. While other works try to make you feel "empathy" for the murderer or his grand motive, here we find that it is the total opposite of that
The narrator takes a lot of pride in his own convictions and ideals about the murder, so he doesn't even try to emphasize with the murder, instead he explains in crafty detail why he should not emphasizes with them, and building up confrontations in that direction
So here you are not actually trying to find similarities between the characters, you are looking for difference, method to unjustified their actions on a deep mental level, instead of exposing them, you want to make them exposed to their own inner self
the way the world changes around the protagonist and our views of his character simply because of the different situation is unmatchable in everything i have read. The authors usually try to lay out groundwork to their characters from the start
here the author have no need for a ground work, and doesn't exactly need to prove anything through his character. He is blessed with an outstanding flexibility in discussing the matter at hand using the same character, so each volume can be read as an individual work
How much the story evolves from one volume to another is unbelievable, and he has a way of arranging text on the page like you are listening to binaural voice, and u feel the sound of the text creeping from the back of your mind in critical moments.
there is also a great emphasis on the vocabulary used, & there is a character who actually makes a point of this, that the characters need to learn more words and ways of expression to convey what they want, but they couldn't, and this pretty much influence a great deal of things
Like they ways the characters use to convey what they want, which can be clear and ambiguous in most ways, and each character has to go an extra mile to understand or perceive not only the meaning but the emotions the other party wanted to convey, even if they couldn't
There is so much depth to the story, but there is even more depth to the presentation and the words used. Nisio Isin really exhausts the full capabilities of written media, to the point i am unsure how can it be replicated in anime medium, but the novel is enough without an anime
