If you are new to Ottawa - Welcome! I moved here from the North yrs ago & was not prepared.

I'm sure everyone told you about the cold & they're not wrong but Ottawa is also VERY rainy & windy, so get a raincoat & rainboots.

And the summer is a level of humid that is SHOCKING.

I can't believe I'm being "Well, actually..." about the damn weather.

But if you've read my book, you know two things :

1- It is very humid in Ottawa & it's very difficult for poor people to live in it bearably.

2- I fucking hate the summers here.

Men on the internet just wake up every day and choose violence, apparently.
