if there's one thing i hate is how the MCU has convinced writers and audiences that good writing is when you put a sardonic quip after every beat in the script like the characters are lets-playing their own movies.
people always complain about it in terms of there being "too many jokes" but the problem is that none of those are jokes

there's no setup or comedic timing. It's just [ACTION] -> [SARCASTIC REMARK].
the only bit of characterization you can add to that is move the slider from ["Sarcastic" <-> "Incredulous" <-> "Whiny"] depending on which character is on screen and which other character has to play straight man to the bit
[SCENE: A BAD GUY DOES A BAD THING]
MARVEL HERO A: Looks like SOMEONE woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning
MARVEL HERO B: That is not funny, focus
MARVEL HERO A: Oh, you too?
[MARVEL HERO A BLOWS UP THE BAD GUY, CUT, REPEAT FOR 120 MINUTES]
