1/ A thread on where I see Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon.

I wouldn't count on the BSC team / @Binance just allowing the whole thing to go away. The retail level customers numbers on BSC are huge and
2/ yes some will fall off with the inevitable dump, but if people actually want something that normal people can use and don't need $50k to actually benefit from it, then it will be awhile before Ethereum can fill that bill. Layer 2 solutions like Polygon are making it much
3/ better, but Polygon and Ethereum do not have the built in customer base that Binance has. Ethereum runs the risk of just becoming a chain where the data of other chains/layers gets recorded if it does not turn the corner on fees/congestion sooner than later. Right now sooner
4/ seems way out of reach.

Binance sees BSC as a long term play and they are going to keep nurturing it. At the end of the day, their motive is not an IPO, but a decentralized network where they don't have to have 1000s of employees and can watch BNB go up in value, since that
5/ is their "stock" in the company. The key for Binance is to start now offering devs better tools, platform, integrations, and features that lock devs in and then to boost projects with real value, connectivity to the real world, etc. Ethereum should be pushing people as much
6/ as possible to use and develop on layer 2 solutions or they risk losing more customers to BSC for the long term.

Polygon is interesting, because I don't think they are content with just being a temporary solution. They seem to be aggressively seeking to be the hub for all
7/ chains and to offer more to devs as they grow and progress. It is awesome to pay nothing for tx and have them happen rapidly and if they can grow their retail level user base,
8/ then they stand a chance to be a dominant network. Unfortunately though, the UX for polygon sucks at first. Getting assets on there is difficult for he average user. Hopefully metamask keeps making that easier for them.
9/ I am not counting anybody out and I expect we'll see much more innovation on BSC in the future. I do though, love competition and look forward to how each responds to the moves of others.
