Right now in a small town in Canada, there's a sign war going on.

It's wild.

And it's the best thing you'll see on Twitter.

Here's how it all started.

A thread.
It all started when Trevor, the owner of an Auto Glass shop in Listowell, Ontario, posted this challenge to the Dairy Queen next store.

Shots fired.
Dairy Queen: Challenge accepted.
And so the Great Sign War began.

Turns out, it was just the beginning...
Word spread.

Soon, the fire department had to get involved.

🔥💧
Dairy Queen was ready.

Speedy Auto Glass? They were ready to pounce.
Thats when the Veterans heard about it.

They jumped into the battle.

And as any Canadian will tell you, don't mess with vets.

🇨🇦
The local sports store couldn't sit back on the sidelines.

They came to win.
The bank saw profits to be made.
Even the farmers and gardeners joined in.

Now the pitchforks were out. 🔱
Then the electricians, plumbers, and HVAC folks brought the fire.

High voltage.
Not to be outdone, even the lawyers and doctors jumped in.

By now, it was a city wide Battle Royale.
Enter the caregivers.

Hard to argue with this one.
And that's how the Great Canadian Sign War of 2021 began.

It's still raging.

New businesses are joining everyday.

And in a world with so much sadness and heartache, it's exactly what we could all use right now.
