6 years ago, me and my brother started a leather bag business but we knew nothing about the industry at the time (we were in over our heads tbh) and while it had potential, we canned it.
A year later, an acquaintance told me about interviews being held at the offices in Eastgate. I went and I didnt even ask what position it was for, I just went and 2/3 weeks later I was told I got the job and I'll start training in April 2016
Kanti the job is for luggage and leathergoods division... And I killed it. Started as a 3rd key and by July of that year, I was promoted to assistant manager, about 18 to 24 months later, bumped up to manager... I learned so much there about the industry
Also got to meet and build relationships too. Now I'm chilling here looking at this leather duffle and contemplating if I should get this baby off of the ground again đŸ€”
