The last episode of #BoundlessHorizon is here😭

It's about the unknown stories of our Black culinary ancestors and how we honor them. Guests are @chefenrika & @johnColtrane215 ♄

I hope every Black culinary professional listens to this.

. @chefenrika's commitment to showing up authentically in every culinary space she enters, embracing all parts of her identity, brought me to tears. I haven't talked about it before this episode but food writing's helped me to embrace being half southern and half west Indian.
. @chefenrika dropped so many gems! Here are my faves:
"I don't think about it, I just AM...THIS is what Mississippi looks like."
"For so long, Black rural southern women have sustained this country. We are the blueprint for radicals, for creativity, for so much."
My brother @johnColtrane215 is the perfect person to help wrap the show with our conversation about the infinite space that is Black creativity.

My favorite line: "You are the future that your ancestors envisioned."
This episode is truly one of my faves. Check it out at the link in the first tweet of this thread!
