I have combined the powers of my ADHD hyperfixation and my English degree to dissect the lyrics to Choker in the context of the video and the rest of their discography also this took an ungodly amount of time so please blow this up lol.
🧵 #TwentyOnePilots #Choker
"I don't bother anyone"

Pretty straightforward. He just doesn't bother to ask for help anymore. What's interesting is the stark contrast to Ride—"I've been thinkin' too much, help me." Part of the reason I thought of Ride was the sunglasses on the left!
"Nervous when I stand"

To me, this has two meanings.

1). He's genuinely just nervous standing there in front of Mean Josh
2). He's nervous to MAKE a stand as he did in Jumpsuit
"Chokin' on the circumstance"

I assume the "circumstance" is their being trapped in this sparkly new Dema, specifically, Josh being under the control of Blurryface. The camera cuts to Josh on that first line, so it lines up pretty nicely.
"Only smokin' secondhand"

Likely refers to the line in Heavydirtysoul "I hope that they choke on smoke 'cause I'm smokin' them out the basement," but it flips it on its head. Tyler is no longer the one in control of the smoke. He's not smoking anybody out. He's breathing it in.
"Cut us open, spread us out / dry us on the sand"

My first thought when I heard this was of the Banditos. The Bishops are essentially trying to divide and conquer. I also thought of March to the Sea. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Tyler say Dema was the sea?
"Lay the fibers side by side / And you'll begin to understand"

This took me a minute, but I have a theory. In Levitate, Tyler says "danger in the fabric of this thing I've made / I probably shouldn't show you but it's way too late" and what is fabric made of? Fibers. (1/2)
Basically, he's saying that in order to understand the story and world he's created, you have to lay it out and look at the big picture. (2/2)
Intermission because I'm in desperate need of a nap and believe it or not I'm fully an adult with a job so blow this up while I'm gone lol.
"I know it's over"

This could mean a lot of things, but I'm going to take a leap and say since he's trapped in Dema under the thumb of Vialism without Josh, his attempts to escape, of which there were many, are over. His life might even be over.
"I was born a choker"

There was a theory floating around a while back that Tyler and Josh were ex-Bishops, and while I don't think that's true based on what we know now, I do think it's interesting that he refers to himself as the CHOKER and not the one being CHOKED. (1/3)
You could look at that a couple ways.

1). He was "born" in Dema and into Vialism and thus ends up being the one choking himself
2). He feels like a burden, choking the people around him

Imma go cry now. (2/3)
This line could also be applied to Josh, who is clearly being controlled by Blurry right now. Maybe Blurry / the Bishops have him convinced he was "born a choker" and that he has to keep people trapped in Dema and conform to Vialism. (3/3)
Intermission #2 also lemme know your thoughts on all this!
