framing of this fight as individual sacrifice which in no way ties to wider structural issues and inequalities driving climate change (e.g. 1% of flyers cause 50% of emissions ,15% of uk flyers take 75% of uk flights etc) is counterproductive at best + at worst, it's dangerous.
if someone has dreamed of conceiving a kid, then let them. big difference between that+ someone taking a flight across the country for ease//cost. we shld be fighting hard to improve infrastructure+dramatically lower train tickets, as one of the first ports of call in this fight.
