Apologies for very slow response but am still in hospital.
I really wanted to say I shouldn’t have tried to intervene in the current huge disputes on here.

I had made points about one account that I hated an ableist word used;
but that also I had seen this account troll fascists with a certain emoji. But I hadn’t & still haven’t seen much of what began the issue or continued it- I follow 10K people- & on that basis I should have STFU! I am so sorry people were upset.
I deleted the tweet as soon as I realised this & immediately explained. But I think my deleting made it look worse-
I really stuffed that up.
But it was never and would never be my intention to imply that emoji could never be used in a racist way,

it definitely could , & anyway I’m a firm believer in white people NOT being the arbiters of what is & isn’t racist. I have always felt that & always will.

I’ll do whatever I can to try to help matters & if that means just talking to folk behind the scenes & zipping it in public, I will totally do that!
