Been getting occasional negative responses to my tweets about #CovidHelp through Ayurveda. I have chosen not to respond, because I know from experience that Ayurveda works for Covid. 1/n

So, here's a recent story. On 27th, got an SOS at 4.30 p.m from a dear, old friend who said he was on the 7th day of fever! He was going for the test but results weren't expected till next evening or even 29th. Was gasping for breath as he spoke. Said he could barely hear me. 2/n
I calmed him down, spoke with Dr. Girija's clinic in Chennai who were kind enough to start treatment subject to test report being produced once it arrived. Another friend rushed to the clinic, did the paper work, collected the medicines and dropped it at his house. 3/n
Called him at night to find out he was thinking of taking Betnesol and another drug suggested by a medical shop as he was in severe respiratory distress by then.😳Somehow calmed him down again, dissuaded him and ensured he took the Ayurvedic medicines, instead. 4/n
Advised to buy a good quality oxymeter and sent the popular video on deep breathing in prone position. I normally put my mobile in flight mode at night, but had it on that night in case he wanted to reach me for any emergency. Kept praying for him. 5/n
He messaged the next morning to say he was able to cross the dreadful night as his breathing had become more comfortable, though he got little sleep. He said but for the medicines, he might have slipped into an emergency. Remember, he had taken just one dose of the Ayur meds.6/n
He got an oxymeter that morning (expensive one at 2k because I insisted he get a quality product) and said O2 levels showed 98! He had taken the morning dose by that time and fever was also under control. Vaidyas from the clinic had already followed up multiple times. 7/n
Later that day, he called me to say both he and his wife had tested positive. Friends arranged for someone else to go to the clinic again, this time to sign the consent form for his wife and collect and deliver the medicines. 8/n
He's on the fourth day of treatment today and all his parameters are stable, except for a low grade fever of 98.6, fatigue, lack of appetite and inability to take a really deep breath. Plus a troublesome headache that hasn't gone away entirely. 9/n
I shudder to think what would've happened if he had delayed reaching out to me even by a day. He would've deteriorated and may not have been in a frame of mind to consider Ayurvedic treatment. Would've been rushed to a hospital and who knows what the outcome might have been? 10/n
Still keeping fingers crossed, but knowing Sanjeevani's track record, I am confident he's on the path to recovery. Bottom line - Ayurveda works, even in severe cases where treatment has been delayed. But, if you catch it early, the turnaround may be even quicker. 11/n
Please encourage those with symptoms and those who've tested positive to consider consulting an experienced vaidya locally. Help them avoid panic, unnecessary expenditure or worse, the loss of a loved one. 12/n

If he feels comfortable, I will ask him to share his experience when he has recovered fully. He's known to some of the people I have tagged in this thread. Reading all the desperate tweets on my TL, how I wish more people could get saved by Ayurveda.😱13/13
