While I think this is not the time for discussing structural issues, widespread aversion to science is currently hampering the work of healthcare professionals

As individuals, we should all actively work to convince our friends & relatives to get vaccinated & behave responsibly. https://twitter.com/shrikanth_krish/status/1388097245036359680
Also, there is a *LOT* of harmful pseudoscience spreading fast and wide on WhatsApp about Covid.

We have to actively speak up on WhatsApp groups and Twitter to inform people and convince them to ignore harmful-pseudoscience messages.
Some things based on what I receive on WhatsApp:

1. While it is good to manage stress after getting Covid, mild Covid becoming worse is NOT because of your inability to cope with stress

2. There is NO pharma conspiracy

3. Covid vaccines DO NOT cause Covid
4. DO NOT believe homeopaths and similar who claim to be able to inoculate you against Covid.

5. ONLY consult medical professions such as physicians.
DO NOT believe homeopaths who claim that you shouldn't go to the hospital for moderate or serious Covid.

DO NOT fear/be skeptical of doctors and hospitals or the lifesaving drugs and protocols they administer. They do it with your recovery in mind, balancing risks and benefits.
On my timeline, I am preaching to the choir.

But on WhatsApp groups, I have a hard time convincing anyone of anything.
