/ Short thread. We've been delighted by the response to our Brexit videos. At the last count, the series has over 1.8million views this week. We wanted to look in depth at specific strands of Brexit - on what was promised and what's been delivered. Here's the full series.
/ Video 1 was about fishing and about the Brexit promise of regaining control of the UK's waters. https://twitter.com/BBCRosAtkins/status/1386774351500955653?s=20
/ Video 2 was about the Brexit promise to protect the Good Friday Agreement and Northern Ireland's peace. https://twitter.com/BBCRosAtkins/status/1387134844883308547?s=20
/ Video 3 looked at the Brexit promises and Remainer warnings over what would happen to the UK's trade with the world and to the UK's economy. https://twitter.com/BBCRosAtkins/status/1387500744530665484?s=20
/ And Video 4 looked at the Brexit promise to take back control of the UK's laws and regulations. https://twitter.com/BBCRosAtkins/status/1387832738657492992?s=20
/ These are four important strands but they're not the whole story of Brexit. Some of you have suggested other areas - immigration, healthcare, hospitality being three. Certainly we'll keep examining how Brexit is changing the UK and how that compares with what was promised.
/ The whole series was expertly guided by OS senior producer @brysonandy as well as @KristinaBlock and our editor @LizJGibb. It was produced by the tireless trio of @MichaelCoxJ @mhosseini01 and @rhartmann_
/ Thanks too to @bbcmartynoates @BBCChrisMorris Kevin Connolly @ChrisPageTV @JP_Biz Andrew Walker & @adamfleming. @BBCNews has an astonishing level of expertise on the ramifactions of Brexit & I'm indebted to my esteemed colleagues for the precision of the advice they offered.
/ That's it. We hope the series was useful - it was an experiment and perhaps we'll do something like that again. In the meantime, Outside Source is back on @BBCNews Channel and @BBCWorld at 7pm on Monday. And I'll back here on twitter with more videos very soon.
