#SWBOutNow Laycon needed to prove a point with his debut album, his first body of work after big brother. He needed to find a way to shed the stigma of being a reality TV star because some people believed he is only popping because of the fame the house gave him.

There was so much pressure on him to prove himself. And we need to commend the fact that he handled that pressure so well! He dropped shall we begin earlier this morning, and this is what I think about the project!

More often than not we hear intros that rush us into the project immediately. But on this one, Laycon gave us a soft progression, with appropriate percussion to give us calm and settle our minds. It sounded like I was in church and I don enter spirit!

GOD BODY
Laycon was hell-bent on flexing his lyrical muscle on this one, and trust me he delivered! Everything was perfect. The electronic feel of the beats, the vocal chants in the background, the lines, his cadence. Not trying to compare him to HOV, but this is some Jay Z shit!

This one was love at first listen for me. All for me was amapiano mixed with our own afrobeats(kudos to finito on this ). Before critiques say Laycon is not made for the industry, he has shut them up with giving different sounds on this project. I love this very one

There is this surprising synchronization on this track. Why do I say âsurprisingâ? We all know Joeboy is a talented singer, so it is surprising that Laycon really matched him on this track(given that presido is a rapper). Especially those parts that they harmonized!

This is one of my fav parts of the project. It got me emotional and smiling at the same time. I pray to reach a stage in my life that I can satisfy my mother in every way and get prayers. The part alhaja said â of lay layâ got me smiling like a fool. I love it!!

I also love the progression in the background as alhaja prayed for presido. It was amazing!!!
I will rate the project 8/10 sha
Zero skips, versatility, variety of sounds, great content, nice arrangement. I love it!!
