After 45 years in radio @Metcalfe680News is retiring, today. I challenge anyone in this business to find a bad thing to say about Scott. /1

In 2015, I was ready to leave broadcasting when Scott told me to apply for an entertainment mat leave position with @680NEWS. And it was with his blessing that I was able to share my takes, opinions, crack jokes and be sarcastic, on the air. /2

It was because of Scott's trust in me, that I found myself as a broadcaster. I've had the most fun of my career working at @680NEWS and I owe a lot of that to him taking a chance on someone who, up until that point was just a sports guy. /3

Ask anyone who's worked for @Metcalfe680News and I guarantee they will describe him as the best boss they have ever had. I owe my broadcasting career to a handful of people - no one more important than Scott. Congrats on your retirement and #ThankYouScott! /4
