It shows findings from data analyzed from 14,690 people who participated in approximately 20 minutes of supervised strength training once a week for up to 6.8 years.
Rapid and maintained gains in strength.
Similar lower body responses in men and women with slightly different in upper body (but still gains and maintains strength).
Effective at all ages (30, 50, and 70).
Findings are quite significant when you expect strength loss over time even in “healthy aging.”
